. . . with a guitar, of course.
Old Post Office Wine Bar & Gallery - Friday, Nov. 10, 8 p.m.
Cafe Moro - Thursday, Nov. 16, 8 p.m.
The Moro show is the start of a second grand opening weekend for Moro with its new space and all. I'll miss that place. Best espresso in Pullman. Now there is room to mingle.
I am also planning on revisiting open mike night at Rico's Monday, Nov. 13. I haven't been there in a while, and I've always enjoyed it. It's where I started playing in the area and where I met pretty much everybody I ever hung out with here.
Cheers.

What! No! we won't let you go. Who else is going to sing Jolene for us?
A good night Friday - we have now fully recovered. Thanks to everyone who stuck around to listen.
One guy, quietly drinking with his date, gave me a defiant "rock on" gesture when I played a Ryan Adams cover. First time I saw one of those at the wine bar.
Tom, the owner of the wine bar did two good things for us musicians.
1) Got rid of the piano - There is actually room to stand in that corner without fear of hitting someone with my guitar head while I am in the delicate process of rocking.
2) Got a floor monitor - Yes, I could hear myself amid all the chatter, clinking glasses and laughter echoing off the hardwood floor.
So that was my last gig there. Everything's better at both my regular venues now that I'm leaving!
