Chopsticks are superior

Could you do this with forks?

I could probably dedicate an entire blog to the superiority of chopsticks. They're the most useful tools in my kitchen hands down.

Last night I had a steamy loaf of banana bread and no wire cooling rack. I had a eureka moment and rigged this really quick. I might use a cooling rack four or five times a year, so I don't care or think to keep one around.

When there's problem solving to be done in the kitchen, reach for the sticks.

My friend Jee said his buddy thinks the spork (a.k.a foon) is the superior utensil.

The spork?! Sure it has its uses, but I can only think of three: bad fork, bad spoon and bad knife.

Now, I will concede a little bit. A well-built spork AND a pair of chopsticks will probably provide enough combined uses to get you out of most near-death situations in the wilderness. Especially if you are near death and need to cool banana bread.
